RSAC wrapped up last week and I am headed this week to the 7th edition of Secure Miami hosted by Digital Era Group on the campus of Florida International University.
Keynote speakers include:
Rob Joyce, recently retired from his role as NSA Cybersecurity Director
Dakota Carey, Senior Security Advisory Consultant at SentinelOne
Jeff Williams, CEO of Halcyon
Eoin Wickens, Director of Threat Intelligence at Hidden Layer
I will be speaking and signing copies of just-launched Security Yearbook 2025.
Here is what you can expect in terms of vendor sponsors.
31 of the 39 are from the US, 7 from Israel, and one, eXate, from the UK. Feel free to grab the entire list from this Google Sheet.
Total funding for all exhibitors is $9.5 billion. Only two vendors are not showing any funding in the IT-Harvest Dashboard. Also note that all but four have grown in headcount so far this year, reflecting the general health of the industry.
After the craziness of RSAC I am looking forward to an Expo where I can actually visit all the booths. On top of that, the intimate venue makes it convenient to attend the sessions. Cost is free, so if you are going to be in Miami on Wednesday this week, make a reservation and drop on by. And don’t forget to pick up a signed copy of Security Yearbook and say Hi.
