There are 220 vendors exhibiting at the Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit starting Monday in National Harbor, Maryland. If you would like to explore the data we curate on each vendor simply sign up for free access to the IT-Harvest Dashboard at https://dashboard.it-harvest.com/g24
If you have read my book on industry analyst relations you know that I am a big fan of Gartner conferences thanks to the quality of the attendees. Gartner claims over 4,000 CISOs and decision makers are attending this year’s Security Summit. That creates a target rich environment for the executive teams at the exhibiting companies. As I walk the exhibit hall I will be keeping my eyes open for CEOs/founders doing booth duty.
I will be camped out in Savvy Security’s booth signing fresh-off-the-press copies of Security Yearbook 2024: A History and Directory of the IT Security Industry. This year’s edition includes the story of Savvy’s CEO and Co-founder, Guy Guzner. Drop on by to say “Hi” and get your copy!
Of 220 exhibitors 145 have added to headcount so far this year.
Of those, Cyera, the DSPM pioneer, has the most impressive growth curve.
These 220 vendors have taken in $48.75 billion in total funding over their lifetimes. 97 have received $100 million or more.
Here is the breakdown of vendors by category. GRC tops the list as it has for the last three years for all conferences we track.
Also not surprising is that this is primarily a US plus Israel showing.
I am ready to suggest that if a vendor is serious about entering the US market their first stop should be this event.
If you would like a spreadsheet of the 220 vendors just reach out and I will send it over.
Hi Richard. Thanks for this. Super helpful. I’ll be there tomorrow and will swing by your booth to say hello.
