Toronto’s cybersecurity conference is coming up in October. I will be there signing copies of Security Yearbook 2024 in Savvy Security’s booth.
One of the valuable features in the IT-Harvest Dashboard is the ability to search on the conferences at which vendors exhibit or sponsor. This year we track 93 exhibitors out of the 4,071 vendors in the Dashboard. In other words you will be able to visit with 2.3% of the entire industry. A quick glance at this public spreadsheet we exported will tell you that those 93 are a great representation of the whole industry.
In total, these vendors have raised $30.4 billion. Here is how they break out by category:
A few categories are missing, including AI Security (although many of these vendors are pivoting to AI), Deception, and API Security. There may be some late entrants that we missed because we captured this list a few weeks ago.
Six of the IT-Harvest Cyber 150 will be exhibiting. Get to know them as they are among the fastest growing cybersecurity vendors of 2024.
You would think that one of the bigger security conferences in Canada would have more local representation. But no, only five Canadian companies are exhibiting.
Those five are eSentire, D3 Security, Devolutions, OpenText, and Blackberry. There are 137 total vendors in Canada. I would at least expect 1Password to exhibit. They do so at BlackHat, RSAC, and Infosec Europe, after all. And where is Cyderes? They have immigrated via marriage to Kansas but still…Maybe both of these will be late entries.
Looking forward to walking the show floor. Keep an eye out for me and say hi! I’ll be the guy in an N95 mask and moving slowly thanks to plantar fasciitis. :-(
