What if there was an industry analyst firm which empowered you to do your own research? Sure, looking through analyst reports is a form of “research” but what if you had a tool to drill down into the data on 3,170 cybersecurity vendors and quickly derive insights? Why let the analysts have all the fun?
At IT-Harvest we have three former esteemed Gartner analysts using the Dashboard everyday. They have been a tremendous help in our fast rollout of features and alerting us to new vendors to incorporate.
The Dashboard was built to quickly answer questions for yourself. Some examples:
-What is the distribution of vendors by country and category? Here you go:
-Which vendors in Israel exhibited at Black Hat this year? Answer: 20.
This week I had a question that could not be answered with a single query. How may vendors shrunk, stayed the same, or grew in the third quarter 2022? Also, break that down by vendor size. It took longer, about 30 minutes, to create this:
I found it very interesting that most larger vendors actually continued to hire throughout the third quarter, despite the dire warnings of industry-wide layoffs.
The above chart is the result of 66 separate searches of the database, all done from the Explore page. (Not 76 because eventually I figured out if I knew total vendors of a certain size and how many shrunk or stayed the same, I could do the math to fill in the last column. :-)
This week's top comment from someone who was getting a demo:
"People must be knocking down your door to get access to this platform."
Think about how this platform could shorten your time to getting answers and deriving insights. Then reach out for a conversation. richard@it-harvest.com
